We have built our club on a set of guiding principles that were formed by our founders in 1987. We are committed to providing our members with an environment that allows them to develop as players and people. A place where they can play the sport we all love - and contribute to their teams, their club and the greater community in meaningful ways.

The Buderim Rebels Hockey Club was formed in 1986 a when a group of “rebels” from the Kawana Hockey Club left to form the Readymix Rebels women’s team that entered the Sunshine Coast Hockey Association competition in 1987. These women are the legends of our club and warmly referred to as the "Original Eleven." From these humble - and rebellious - beginnings, we have grown to become the Sunshine Coast's most successful sports club.
